Accelerator Status

• RF recovery day on Wednesday day 8:00AM - 4:00PM
• We requested RadCon support for controlled access already

Current Status

• We are continuing data taking on He3 target, 36 uA Beam, no major interruptions except a few DAQ crashes.
• In order to have a more stable DAQ, we have now switched to GEnII-noSBSGEMs config, latency has been changed accordingly.
• IHWP plate is now inserted [ https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4096283 ], Paul did a charge asymmetry feedback after the ihwp was put in [ https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4096365 ]
• A huge beam current step change was notified by the MCC [ https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4096883 ]. I spoke with Arun on the phone, Arun pointed out that this is unacceptable to us, per Arun's suggestion, we did an NMR measurement to make sure our target is still good, see [ https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4096938 ]. This issue has been discussed today in the 7:45 RC meeting and 8:00 MCC meeting, unfortunately the reason for this is not confirmed yet. MCC is looking into this.
• Target polarization is near max at present, which is good. Bill informed that we can do NMR measurement every 3 - 4 hours now, close to 4 hours is better.

Short Term Run Plan

• Continue production run on He3 target, 36 uA
• Use GEnII-noSBSGEMs DAQ config
• Use ps3=0, ps5=6, others =-1
• BBCal threshold at -366 mV, HCal threshold at -19 mV
• NMR measurement every 3 - 4 hours, close to 4 hours is better

• One GEM APV malfunction, not a big problem ( https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4094508 )

Planned Accesses to the Hall

• RF recovery day on Wednesday
• Access for hodoscope is in plan
• Access for GEM BB APV will need a further evaluation see if it's necessary
