• Results of poll for new meeting time
• Brief round-table updates of ongoing efforts. Topics:
  • ECAL database and replay scripts/cosmic calibration plans
  • GEP target shielding simulations
  • GEM developments; database/alignment/cosmic data analysis:
    • Anu: repository for dedicated GEM expert replay. It's been started. First stage is complete to analyze FT pedestal and cosmic data. That's going on. Met with Alex and talked about selective readout scheme. Do simulations and make maps between APVs and ECAL blocks. Just today both Front Tracker and back tracker were moved into the SBS platform.
  • Digitization/MC replay updates
    • Eric: not much to report this week. Struggling a bit to analyze/do the plots. Established a way to "calibrate" the digitization for all the GMN settings for BBCAL (HCAL not yet). Possible today or tomorrow. Helped Provakar yesterday to find out why the ECAL analysis for simulation was not producing any output.
    • Jhih-Ying: Working with Provakar and Kip on ECAL cosmic commissioning. Depends whether Ben has time tomorrow. Writing replay script for trigger testing/cosmic commissioning in time for holidays
    • Jimmy: Jhih-Ying, Provakar, Kip working on analysis for cosmic data. Tomorrow or sometime this week testing ECAL DAQ. Installed some pulsers mimicking cosmic signal. Test DAQ and software. Finishing basically all cabling for signal and HV this week. Fixing light leaks; delay of delivery of CDET attachments prevents insulation on the front. Delivered now. Get all insulation and light-tight panels on. From PMT perspective is ready soon, light-tightness critical path.
    • Paul King: we're installing a copy of the helicity decoder board in SBS DAQ, parallel with existing framework, will get a decoder up and running for that part of the data stream. Secondary cross check on helicity flags. Put up guidance on how to use what's currently in the trees to form asymmetries. Can do further matching against parity DAQ results. I don't have someone available to work on that. Helicity flip. Two questions: how often to do MOLLER measurement and whether to balance IHWP states.
    • Provakar: working on getting replay ready for ECAL. While trying to set up the replay. Database with crate map, det map, etc. position info. ROC ID goes from 38 to 44. Ole confirmed the issue. Needed to make new 1.8.0 analyzer version. Change of MAXROC will be binary incompatible with previous version. Wants to add a few other things. Running replay shows no outputs. Simulation also shows no output. Some other issue. ECAL needs its own class since some pure virtual methods of ECAL provide no default implementation. Now working with digitized, simulated data. Almost ready for pulser test.
    • Saru: Currently finding analysis resources regarding active analyzer. Hit timing both detectors.
    • Vimukthi: comparing current replays and "pass 1" replay; small thing but preshower energy distributions look different for three kinematic points. Potential change of calibration or interation of existing calibration with "tmax" cuts/etc.
