Agenda

  1. GEn Analysis update -> Sean Jeffas
  1. SBS Timing Analysis update -> Andrew Puckett

Attendance

Minutes

Sean's Talk:

  • run summation - run-by-run low statistics asymmetries should be able to be combined together unless runs have different polarizations
    • it is acceptable for a run to have a large error bar on its asymmetry
  • Why do more pions than expected survive the cut?
    • GRINCH cluster matched to a GEM track
    • Has the cut been applied to confirm that a track exists - is the matching cut too strict?
    • GRINCH has much looser timing cuts, so the clustering results are noisier
      • minimum 3 cluster size may not reject as many pions as expected
    • if everything is well calibrated then things should be well separated

Andrew's Talk:

  • all calibrations need to be redone for the next mass replay
  • can we use TDC times from HCal?
