Minutes

1. Braian - familiarizing with analysis and hoping to take up a project in the Spring
2. Hunter - polarimetry, thesis, moving away
3. Jack - comparing sim to data for preshower energies and applying GRINCH cuts (in discussion with Eric [1] )
4. Kate - BBCal NIM and performance plots
5. Vimukthi - analysis for kin4, preshower energy distribution now compared to pass1

• Vladimir and Bogdan are still working on field measurements for polarization direction
  • Deeply related to polarimetry
  • Would like field to accuracy of quarter of a gauss, maybe 1%
  • during spin flip during afp and during epr, the field is well known from target analysis
    • in the hall, we never took measures to determine the residual field from outside sources
    • Bill measured the field with coils at +/- 7 amps to determine background in the hall [2]
  • Gordon et al will discuss how to provide field strength estimate
  • presentation on these measurements is on the way

• It would be great to have a list of distinct tasks that need to be completed for pass2 replay - develop in another meeting?
  • students can spend the next couple weeks making a list and then present this list for Andrew and the spokespeople
