Agenda
- Dilution factors during GEn-I -> Gordon Cates
Attendance
Minutes
- GEn-I used no dilution from scattering from target windows that are not removed by y-target cuts
- can we account for nitrogen and background like we did in GEn-I?
- we do not have nitrogen data for all of the GEn-II kinematics
- contributes ~8%
- can we use simulation to get N2 data?
- Generalized eikonal approximation (GEA)
- average polarization is less than effective polarization
- cutting out inelastics constrains wave function
- how does one measure the asymmetry for the accidental backgrounds?
- fitting the background under the coincidence time peak - Gary
- this method addresses dilution but not asymmetry?
- more discussion in zoom chat
