Minutes
- Calibrations are an important step in analysis
- Do we need to calibrate the field scale parameters in the Monte Carlo?
- Yes. Since they need accurate MC to get accurate signal/background ratios for any given event selection.
- When will we have a better idea of everyone's thesis coverage/topic?
Arun's stuff:
- Every presenter should describe criteria for calibrations.
- Put all calibration plots on redmine/DocDB.
- Make sure procedures are fully documented.
- Have a team of people to look over documentation.
Hall A GRINCH VETROC channel to time conversion:
- Ben Raydo says it's 1ns/channel
- Why do we see the 8ns structure?
- you need to do a 0ns or 4ns correction per event based on the TS timestamp if it's odd or even
- if you don't do this, then half of your events will have a 4ns shift
- Mark said he would implement this.
