Accelerator

Plan unchanged from yesterday:

• no Wien angle change Tuesday for Hall A pass change;
• Accelerator beam studies currently scheduled on May 19th starting at 7am
• Pass change for Hall C Wednesday day shift

Current Run Plan

• Raster is on.
• Target is LD2 with a radiator
• Set BB magnet on (750 A).
• Ask MCC to turn SBS magnet on at 2100 A (100 %).
• Load BBCal HV settings for BB on, SBS-100 %.
• Set ps3 to 0, all others to -1 (coin trigger).
• Set BBCal threshold to approximately ?? GeV ( ?? mV) for (scan) BBCALHI and (leave as-is) BBCALLO, nominal HCAL threshold.
• Starting at 1 μA, observe rates on HCal and BBCal.
• GEM expert present: turn on GEMs at reduced HV (3600V). Begin to check rates and compare to GEn-RP running. Increase beam current and HV as able.
• Maximum 5uA on deuterium+radiator pending daq rates.
• Take data at established beam current for remainder of the experiment.
• Moller measurement--when??
