Current Status

On the accelerator side:

--> Ops took the machine offline for retuning this morning. As of now the beam at the Hall A dumplette is still too large. They are working on it. https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4280905 , https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4280950

On the Hall side:

--> We put Hall A in controlled access yesterday evening.

--> Dave Meekins started the target cool down this morning.

--> He is now at the point where he will start the condensation of the H loop. We will need a TO in the counting house starting with 6 pm.

--> Dave will then take a brake and then work on the condensation of the D loop. We should have the target ready by ~ 1 am. At that point we will be requesting beam permit.

Notices in Effect for Shift Crew

  • For controlled access call the RC and together you will fill out the Hall access checklist. [1]

Current Issues

  • Hall A beam too large at the dumplette. Hopefully MCC will address this soon enough.

Planned Accesses to the Hall

  • We will transition from Controlled to Beam permit as soon as the condensation of the H and D is done. Hopefully this will be around 1 am during owl.
