Summary

• During pass change in accelerator, Hall was in controlled access. Hall was locked to beam permit towards the end of Day shift.
• Harp scan https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4304603, raster check https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4304608 and carbon hole scan https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4304647 was performed during the mid-swing shift.
• BBCal Rate scan done varying threshold with 1uA current (290 MeV to 2000 MeV) : https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4304702, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4304775
• After talking with Bogdan and Arun, threshold of 900 MeV (-237 mV) was set for 1uA beam current to take production data (coincidence rate ~3.2kHz)
• Production running until 9:20 am this morning, then beam off for pass change in Hall C
• Hall access by GEM group and BBCAL

Accelerator

• Accelerator beam studies currently scheduled on May 19th (starting at 7:00 am) and May 20th (until 7:00 am)

Current Run Plan

• Raster is on.
• Target is LD2 with a radiator
• BB magnet at 750 A and SBS magnet at 1470 A (70%)
• Set ps3 to 0, ps5=5 , all others to -1 (coin trigger).
• Set BBCal threshold to approximately 1 GeV ( -300 mV in BBCALHI DAC) and HCAL threshold (-25 mV)
• Beam current ~2.5 uA
• 2 hr long runs

Current Issues

• SBS magnet readback current fluctuation (set to 1470 A but reaches upto 1500 A sometimes)

Future plans

• Moller measurement--when??
• Hall Access to remove Analyzer on Sunday (Radcon will survey the hall starting 7:00 am)
